📞 Update to Our Phone System / ✅ Use our Call Back System

We have recently investigated reports from some patients who were unfortunately being cut off when trying to contact the practice.

Following this review, we discovered that our phone system had a limit of 25 callers in the queue. Once this number was exceeded, additional callers were automatically disconnected.

We have now spoken with our phone provider and this limit has been removed, meaning patients will no longer be cut off regardless of how many people are waiting in the queue.

We would like to remind patients that Mondays and the 8am period remain our busiest times. Despite regular reminders to avoid these times for routine enquiries where possible, demand continues to be extremely high. Patients calling during these peak periods should therefore expect longer waiting times.

Use our Call Back System
To make things easier, our phone system offers a call back option.

When you select the call back option:
• You keep your place in the queue
• You do not need to stay on the phone
• Our system will automatically call you back when it is your turn

This allows you to go about your day knowing that you will receive a call back from us.
